DEVELOPMENTAL LEARNING PROGRAM
Our educators develop programs for the children each week based on the children’s interests and skill level in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Our preschool program is delivered by University trained Early Childhood Teachers and compliant with national requirements for educating children in readiness for primary school. Our curriculum is intentional and focusses on learning through play.
Your child’s educators are happy to discuss the activities your child engages in on a daily basis and explain the important learning that is taking place.
We use the Storypark application to record your child’s developmental progress and keep you informed about daily activities at the centre. Each child also has a Portfolio of memories (artwork, samples and photographs) which is put together as a keepsake for them. You are encouraged to contribute to Storypark yourself and regularly look at your child’s portfolio adding any ideas, suggestions or comments.
PARENT/GUARDIAN INFORMATION
We have an “Open Door” policy at Little Nippers Early Learning & Child Care. In accordance with our Access Policy, parent/guardians are invited to visit the centre at all times to experience and contribute to your child’s program.
FEES
We currently offer two sessions daily. The first is a ten-hour standard daily session providing you with care anytime between 7:30am and 5:30pm. Our second session is one additional hour from 5:30pm to 6:30pm catering for families needing extended care.
The Government calculates your entitlement to the Childcare Subsidy based on your family income and activity, then subsidises your fees up to the maximum hourly rate.
We can calculate your gap fee once we know your entitlement to hours and Childcare Subsidy. You will need to apply online through your MyGov account. Contact the centre for a copy of our current fee schedule and ask for quote.
